Traveling The Warriors Journey:

Growing Through the Invisible Wounds of War and
Into the Mature Warrior Identity

Viewing the military experience through the lens of The Warriors Journey provides a unique exploration and de-pathologizing of the milestones encountered throughout the lifespan of the Warrior, the Warrior’s family and community, from the beginning response to the call to duty through the end of life.

This workshop is for everyone who desires to understand the invisible wounds of war and the moral and spiritual path traveled by those who serve our country in the military. We invite active duty military personnel, veterans of all wars and their families; clergy: mental health professionals; medical professionals;  government agency staff; teachers and educators; business professionals; policy makers and community leaders and especially, citizens who are concerned with the well-being of our veterans of all wars and seek to understand how we can fulfill the sacred social contract between Warriors and Civilians.

Workshop teacher: Dr. Edward Tick, author of War and The Soul; Founder and Director of Soldiers Heart; psychotherapist working with veterans for over 30 years

and

Dr. Sarah Lopez, Psychologist in clinical practice in Atlanta, who works at the interface of psychotherapy and spirituality.
