PROFESSIONAL TRAINING
The work of this highly creative committee begins with collecting data on the needs of professionals who are seeking training related to PTSD from the effects of war. (The survey is to be emailed soon!). This data will be used to plan and implement programs throughout the year.
Volunteers are needed to assess the needs, create a schedule of training workshops, develop and bring the programs to fruition. Volunteer opportunities include a range of involvment from creating to implementing, so there are many activities from which to choose.
These programs will be fundraisers, so this committee works closely with the Fundraising Committee as well as the Outreach/Communication Committee. Proceeds from this work not only supports other programs, it helps create a highly trained cadre of professionals who may wish to be part of the eventual Healer’s Network.
