Outreach/Communications
This committee has two functions:
1. Exploring and connecting with existing community organizations and resources that share the VHG mission of healing the effects of war. THIS ALSO INCLUDES CONTACTING, REACHING OUT TO , AND MENTORING VETERANS OF ALL WARS.
2. Communication with the public: assisting with web communication; publicity for events; radio and TV interviews; writing public service announcements and press releases; helping create a marketing plan.
This committee is closely aligned with the fundraising committee, with several members in common.
