We will explore how all of us can work together to bring home

veterans of all wars, tend their families and

engage all our citizens in healing the effects of war by investigating

  1. PTSD from psychological, holistic, cross-cultural, historical and spiritual perspectives
  2. The archetypal Warrior’s Journey as a foundational model for understanding the military experience and working with veterans of all wars.
  3. The social dimensions of the military and combat experiences and PTSD as a social and community wound.
  4. Strategies for applying the Warrior’s Journey model as healing practices in healthcare, mental health practices and faith communities
  5. Strategies for addressing the holistic and psycho-spiritual dimensions of the Warrior’s Journey and PTSD wound in our civilian communities
